The Texas Hill Country town of Llano (population 3,300) is located 100 miles from Austin along the banks of the pristine Llano River. The historic city was founded in 1855, and features buildings from the Old West era.
In the surrounding areas of Llano – known as the Deer Hunting Capitol of Texas – you’ll find some of the best deer hunting in the country. And like other communities in the Texas Highland Lakes region, plenty of fishing and hunting spaces abound around Llano, making the area a true ’sportsman’s paradise’.
